Conlan Normington is a motion designer/hip-hop producer who loves working on graphic, playful and abstract animation using Cinema 4D or After Effects and making obnoxious beats from field recordings.
Originally from Melbourne, he is currently residing in the bike obsessed town of Cumberland on Vancouver Island, Canada. Conlan’s work aims to find the unique, nuanced and distinct personality for each brand, then communicate it with something completely unexpected.
Over the last 4 years working as a designer and animator at two global branding agencies, Interbrand and FutureBrand, Conlan learnt from some of the best in the field and helped craft new identities for some of Australia’s largest brands.
When not animating, Conlan produces hip-hop under the alias Tyme, with a new album currently in production and set for release in 2019. Maybe, probably never, but maybe. 2019.
